Diesen Monat ist es endlich so weit. Die famosen Bouncing Souls veröffentlichen vier Jahre nach “Comet” ihr neues Album. Am 29. Juli erscheint “Simplicity”. Es ist das neunte Album der New Jersey-Punks und das erste mit Drummer Georg Rebelo (Against Me!, Hot Water Music).
Ebenfalls mitgemacht hat John Seymour, der bereits die Souls-Meisterwerke “How I Spent My Summer Vacation” und “Anchors Aweigh” produziert hat. Viel konnte also nicht schief gehen. Und wenn man sich den ersten neuen Song “Up To Us” anhört, ging auch nicht viel schief. Der Song ist ein Kracher, der Song macht Lust auf das Album. Und auf die kommende Tour.
Am 28. September spielen die Bouncing Souls mit The Menzingers in der Markthalle. Wir präsentieren die Show und hauen in gar nicht langer Zeit mal ein paar Tickets für dieses gigantisch gute Punkrock-Doppel raus.
Stichtwort The Menzingers: Die sind Teil der neuen 49-Song-Compilation “Forever Beautiful: a collection of love for Orlando“, auf der auch Musik von Bad Religion, Modern Baseball, Anti-Flag, Taking Back Sunday, Basement, Title Fight, Kevin Devine, The Hotelier, New Found Glory, Tiny Moving Parts und vielen mehr zu hören ist.
